Built for power tapping in large-capacity lathes, the Kato MT4 SA1022 Quick Change Tapper delivers smooth, precise thread cutting while reducing setup time. Designed for Morse Taper No. 4 tailstocks, it’s capable of handling larger taps with ease, making it ideal for heavy-duty workshop or production use.

This unit is New Old Stock (NOS) – never used, but showing light surface rust with some visible pitting from storage. Despite the cosmetic marks, the tapper is in fine and concentric working condition. It comes with quick-change collets covering M10 to M24 tap sizes. The quick-change mechanism allows for fast tap swaps without losing alignment, perfect for repetitive tapping operations.
