The Mitutoyo 7032B is a classic Universal Magnetic Stand designed specifically for holding Dial Test Indicators (DTIs) and small dial gauges.
Unlike heavy-duty hydraulic arms, this unit uses a rigid two-rod design (Main Stem + Sub Pole) with a universal swivel clamp at the end. This configuration is preferred by toolmakers for its stability and ease of fine positioning.
- Versatile Mounting: The head features a swivelling clamp that accepts 6mm stems, 8mm stems, and—crucially—a Dovetail slot. This allows you to mount almost any brand of lever indicator (Mitutoyo, Peacock, Tesa) directly by the body or the stem.
- Fine Adjustment: It features a fine-adjustment knob on the clamp head, allowing you to bring the indicator needle precisely to zero without tapping the stand or moving the magnetic base.
- Strong Hold: The base features a switchable permanent magnet with approximately 600N of holding force, ensuring it stays rigid on machine beds or granite tables.
