The Mitutoyo 103-137 is the industry-standard 0-25mm Outside Micrometer (OM Series). It is the most widely used mechanical micrometer in machine shops worldwide, favoured for its reliability and classic feel.
- Precision: Features a measuring accuracy of ±2µm with 0.01mm graduations. The scale is laser-etched on the satin chrome thimble for glare-free reading.
- Ratchet Stop: Equipped with a Ratchet Stop thimble. This mechanism provides a constant measuring force (5-10N), ensuring that every measurement is consistent regardless of who is holding the tool.
- Durability: The measuring faces are Carbide Tipped and micro-lapped to resist wear, while the frame is finished in Mitutoyo’s signature green “Hammertone” baked enamel for heat deflection and grip.
- Standard Model: As the 0-25mm base model, it does not require a setting standard (gauge block) to zero; you simply close the measuring faces.
