The Mitutoyo 570-227 is a highly accurate Absolute Digimatic, Digital Height Gauge designed for precision layout work and dimensional inspection on a granite surface plate, offering a measuring range of 0-200mm.

• Absolute Encoder Technology: Features Mitutoyo’s built-in “Absolute” electrostatic linear encoder. This means the gauge remembers its zero point even after powering off. You never have to re-zero the tool when turning it on, and it completely eliminates over-speed errors.
• Fine Adjustment: Equipped with a hand-operated slider and fine-adjustment carriage, allowing you to easily and smoothly dial in precise measurements to a resolution of 0.01mm.
• Rigid Construction: Built with a heavy, shaped base for a secure grip and a rigid column to ensure repeatable, accurate measurements.

This height gauge is in good working order. The digital readout is clear, and the mechanical slider operates very smoothly.

• Missing Components: Please note that this unit is missing the scriber (knife) and the scriber clamp.
• Note on the knife/clamp: I do have a new spare knife/clamp available, but be aware that it is the wrong size for this specific model and will not fit out of the box without modification a spacer. You will need to source a correct Mitutoyo replacement clamp and scriber to use this tool for marking out. These can be found on ebay.
