The Mitutoyo 187-901 is an elite-level Universal Bevel Protractor, designed for the ultra-precise measurement, layout, and inspection of angles on machinery, molds, and custom jigs.
- Full 360° Range: Unlike standard half-moon protractors, this “Universal” model can measure a full 360° (divided into four 90° quadrants), allowing you to sweep and measure any angle on a complex workpiece.
- 5-Minute Resolution: It utilizes a high-contrast vernier scale that reads down to 5 arcminutes (1/12th of a degree), providing far greater precision than simple degree-graduated tools.
- Built-in Magnifier: To eliminate eye strain and parallax errors when reading the microscopic 5-minute lines, this unit is equipped with a factory-integrated magnifying glass positioned directly over the vernier scale.
- Versatile Setup: This kit includes both a 150mm and a 300mm blade (featuring 60°, 45°, and 30° edges). It also includes a holder that allows you to clamp the entire protractor directly to a height gauge for precision layout work on a surface plate.

The instrument itself is in brand new, unused condition, with all the components still factory-sealed in their original plastic.
- The Catch: This was clearly purchased and sat forgotten on a workshop shelf for years. As a result, the outer protective case is dirty, ugly, and shows significant shelf wear. However, the precision tool inside remains pristine and factory-perfect.
