The Mitutoyo 511-703 is the industry-standard bore gauge for measuring internal diameters in the 50mm to 150mm range. It is widely used in automotive machining (cylinder boring) and general engineering for checking ID size, ovality, and taper.
The gauge features a rugged, self-centring bridge that automatically aligns the measurement points across the true diameter of the bore. The contact points are Carbide Tipped, ensuring long life and wear resistance even when measuring abrasive cast iron or steel.
