Description
Condition
Used
This is a rare, vintage set of Sandvik Coromant “Hard Cut” drills. The set is used and is missing 2x drills. The packaging may show some signs of shelf wear or aging consistent with long-term storage (the release date for this series dates back to the early 80s), but the tools themselves are pristine and ready for use.
Product Overview
The Sandvik Coromant HC is a specialised Hard Cut Drill Set designed for the most difficult drilling tasks in the workshop.

These drills are engineered specifically for machining hardened steel and, most notably, for drilling out broken taps or bolts. They feature a robust geometry with a 120° point angle and a 0° orthogonal rake angle, which provides the extreme edge strength required to cut through materials that would instantly destroy a standard HSS or Cobalt drill.
Brand Information
Sandvik Coromant is the world’s leading supplier of tools and know-how to the metalworking industry. This “Hard Cut” series is a classic example of their problem-solving engineering—tools designed not for general production, but to save the day when a part is hardened or a tap has snapped off in a critical component.
