Radius Master

Radius Master belt grinders have been built in Australia for over 45 years. Designed by tool and die maker John Price and now manufactured under Niroc Tools, these patented, award-winning machines put seven work stations within reach in seconds — five contact wheels, slack belt and flat platen grinding — with no spanners and no disassembly. A belt change takes under 10 seconds. That tool-free versatility is why knifemakers, fabricators, engineers, TAFE colleges, the CSIRO and aircraft and medical workshops have relied on them for decades.

The range centres on the RM-48 Series II, a 2″ × 48″ grinder with a 2 HP 240v motor, five included contact wheels (Ø20–200mm) and a tilting head for vertical and horizontal work. The RM-48 Variable Speed adds stepless control from 0 to 3,600 ft/min, so you can move from aggressive stock removal on steel to delicate finishing on softer metals, timber and composites on the one machine.
