This is a premium Sandvik Coromant 151.2-21-30 T-Max Q-Cut parting and grooving blade. It is engineered for high-efficiency parting off, deep grooving, and face grooving operations on CNC lathes.
- Blade Dimensions: The blade features a highly rigid 25.9mm height (commonly referred to as a 26mm blade in the shop). This makes it perfectly sized to slip into standard heavy-duty parting blocks. It provides an impressive maximum cutting depth (overhang) of 35mm.
- Seat Size 30: It is designed to accept standard size “30” Q-Cut inserts (which feature an approximately 3mm cutting width). This is the industry standard size for stable, efficient metal removal without wasting excess material.
- Double-Ended Design: This blade features an insert pocket on both ends. If an operator ever happens to crash or deform one pocket during a heavy cut, you can simply flip the blade around and keep machining, effectively giving you two tools in one.
