About the Machine
The Hercus No. 0 Horizontal Milling Machine is a compact yet rigid horizontal mill designed for toolroom, maintenance, and light production work. With a geared head offering eight spindle speeds from 80 to 1190 RPM and high/low range selection, it provides good torque and control across a wide range of materials and cutter sizes. The MT3 horizontal spindle, combined with the supplied arbor and overarm support, makes it well suited to slab milling, slotting, keyways, and gear cutting operations. Its all–cast iron construction gives the machine stability and vibration resistance, making it a dependable choice for workshops where accuracy and repeatability matter.
