- Broad Tapping Range (M3 – M12): This highly versatile chuck handles an impressive range of tap sizes from M3 up to M12, accommodating tap shank diameters between 2.5mm and 10.0mm.
- Advanced Tap Protection: Engineered with a built-in safety slip coupling, this chuck automatically prevents catastrophic tool breakage if the tap bottoms out or binds. Additionally, it features elastic length compensation (10mm under compression, 20mm under tension) to act as a cushion between the machine feed and the actual thread pitch.
- Misalignment Compensation: Features an integrated pendulum device that provides up to 1.0mm of compensation parallel to the axis, correcting slight misalignments between the machine spindle and the workpiece to prevent oversized or cross-threaded holes.
