Product Overview

The Mitutoyo 511-130 is a heavy-duty Standard Bore Gauge with a large measuring capacity of 160mm – 250mm. It is the go-to instrument for measuring cylinder liners, large bearing housings, and hydraulic cylinders.

• Self-Centering: Features a spring-loaded guide bridge that automatically aligns the gauge to the true diameter of the bore, ensuring accurate measurement without requiring a “feel” for the tool.
• One-Revolution Indicator: This set is fitted with the premium Mitutoyo 2959S Dial Indicator. This is a “One Revolution” type gauge (Range 1.6mm), designed to prevent reading errors. The pointer never rotates more than one full turn, eliminating the possibility of miscounting revolutions.
• Protection: The grip is hollow-structured to reduce heat transfer from the operator’s hand by 50%, preventing thermal expansion from affecting the measurement accuracy.

Condition

Used (Great Condition / Minor Cosmetic Flaw).

This bore gauge presents in great used condition with very little sign of use on the mechanical components. The measuring anvils and guide bridge are clean. It comes in the modern Blow Mould Case, which protects the instrument better than older wooden boxes.

Note on Indicator: The included 2959S Dial Gauge is in great working order with smooth action; however, there is a very small crack in the centre of the plastic lens. This is purely cosmetic and does not obscure the reading or affect the movement/accuracy of the gauge.
