You need a dedicated bore gauge — one that transfers the bore diameter directly to a dial indicator with consistent, repeatable contact geometry every single time. The Mitutoyo 511-132 is exactly that tool: a workhorse bore gauge set covering 50–150mm through a range of interchangeable anvils, paired here with a Peacock 0.01mm dial indicator. This is a used set in good working condition, missing only the No.9 (90mm) anvil — everything else is present and functional.

The chrome and ground surfaces show the expected patina and light handling marks consistent with workshop use — no deep gouges, no damage to the centring cone or the anvil seat. The gauge body operates smoothly: the spring-loaded contact extends and returns without sticking, and the anvil swap mechanism functions correctly. The included anvils (No.1 through No.11, excluding No.9 / 90mm) are present and in serviceable condition with no visible damage to the contact faces. The No.9 anvil for 90mm readings is missing — this is disclosed upfront. If your work requires 90mm bores specifically, a replacement anvil can be sourced separately from Mitutoyo or aftermarket suppliers; all other sizes in the range are covered without interruption. The Peacock 0.01mm dial indicator shows general workshop use — the crystal and bezel are intact, the needle returns and responds to plunger movement. As with any used indicator being put into precision service, it is recommended you verify zero against a calibrated ring gauge or master bore before committing readings to a job. The original Mitutoyo storage case is included, with its green foam insert, providing organised storage and protection for all components.
