It is configured for standard Outside Diameter (OD) and Inside Diameter (ID) measurement using the upper jaws.

Both jaws are adjustable (secured by screws), the fixed jaw has been moved from its factory position; the buyer will likely need to reset the zero point or align the jaw upon receipt. No storage case or manual is included.
