- 0.01 mm graduation over a 10 mm range — A full centimetre of travel with one-hundredth resolution means you can run the spindle through its full stroke without resetting, making it practical for both fine runout checks and larger setup verification tasks where a shorter-range gauge would require multiple repositions.
- Revolution counter sub-dial — The small secondary dial tracks full revolutions of the main pointer, so you always know where you are in the 10 mm travel. Critical when checking deep bores or tall workpieces where it’s easy to lose track of how many times the needle has swept past zero.

This gauge presents as fully unused. The dial face is clean with no scratches, smears, or UV fade. The chrome bezel and body show no handling marks, and the contact point tip and stem are free of the wear witness marks you’d expect on any used indicator — no flat spot on the point, no scuff ring on the stem from clamp contact. The movement is smooth through its full 10 mm stroke with no sticky spots or backlash hesitation, and the pointer returns crisply to zero on release. As New Old Stock, the gauge has been stored rather than used, so it comes with its original calibration certificate — however, given the nature of NOS inventory, a quick verification against a known master or gauge block stack before committing it to critical work is always sound practice. Mechanically and cosmetically, this example is as close to out-of-the-factory condition as a pre-owned purchase gets.
