The Mitutoyo 468-136 is a high-precision Digimatic Holtest (Three-Point Internal Micrometer) designed for the rapid and accurate measurement of bores in the 20mm – 25mm range.
- Three-Point Accuracy: Unlike two-point calipers which can rock inside a bore, this tool features three self-centering anvils spaced at 120°. This design automatically centers the tool in the bore, ensuring reliable measurement of the true diameter.
- TiN Coated Points: The measuring contact points are coated in Titanium Nitride (TiN). This gold-coloured coating is extremely hard, providing superior wear resistance and allowing for smooth operation even in abrasive environments.
- Blind Hole Capable: The contact points are positioned close to the bottom face of the head, allowing you to measure right to the bottom of blind holes.
- Ratchet Stop: Features a ratchet mechanism in the thimble to ensure constant measuring force, eliminating operator error.
- IP65 Protection: Sealed against dust and coolant ingress, making it suitable for use directly on the machine shop floor.
