The Mitutoyo 103-138 is the industry-standard 25-50mm Outside Micrometer (OM Series). This is the workhorse of the machine shop, featuring the classic green “Hammertone” baked enamel finish for durability and heat deflection.

- Feel: Equipped with a Ratchet Stop thimble, which provides a constant measuring force (5-10N) and that familiar “click” to ensure consistent readings between different operators.
- Durability: The measuring faces are Carbide Tipped and micro-lapped to resist wear, while the spindle is made from high-carbon steel.
- Completeness: As a 25-50mm model, it requires a zero-point check before use; this unit comes with the correct 25mm Standard Bar included in the box.
