This bevel protractor is in good used condition. The instrument itself is well-preserved, with the satin chrome finish and graduations remaining clear and legible. Cosmetic Notes: There are some small marks on the plastic adjustment knobs, but they function perfectly. The original box is included but is in “rough” condition and currently contains some wood dust from workshop storage (we recommend a quick wipe-down upon arrival).

Product Overview

The Marui Keiki BP-301 is a high-precision Universal Bevel Protractor designed for measuring angles on machined parts, moulds, and jigs. It features a full 360° measuring range (split into 4 quadrants of 0-90°) and a vernier scale that reads down to 5 arc minutes (5′).

Unlike cheaper protractors, the BP-301 is built from hardened stainless steel (SUS420J2) for superior durability and rust resistance. It features a “flush” vernier scale—meaning the vernier plate and main scale are on the same plane—to eliminate parallax error (reading errors caused by viewing the scale from an angle). It also includes a fine-adjustment knob for dialling in the exact angle before locking it down.
