- Positive Down-Thrust: The genius of the IMAO toe clamp design is in its internal cam/wedge action. As you tighten the main screw, the clamp jaw doesn’t just push forward—it pushes forward and pulls downward simultaneously. This forces the workpiece aggressively down into your mill table or fixture plate, completely eliminating part-lift and vibration during heavy milling passes.
- Top-Face Clearance: Because these clamps sit lower than the top edge of your material, you can run your face mills and endmills directly over the part without constantly pausing the CNC program to move clamps.
- 1/2″ (13mm) Slot Compatibility: The clamp bodies feature a 13mm mounting slot, making them an ideal fit for standard 1/2″ or M12 mill table hardware. Simply drop a standard socket head cap screw through the body and lock it into your machine’s T-nuts (Note: Mounting bolts and T-nuts are not included).
- Adjustable Reach: The slotted body design allows you to easily slide the clamp forward into the workpiece before locking it down, providing excellent setup versatility.
