The yellow dial face is legible with no cracked crystal, and the graduations are clean and sharp under direct light. The contact point stylus appears intact and straight with no visible tip damage. The dovetail mount shows light contact marks consistent with normal clamping use — nothing that will affect clamping security or registration in a standard holder. There is light surface patina and minor handling marks on the body and bezel, as expected from a used toolroom instrument; these are cosmetic only and have no bearing on measurement accuracy or repeatability. As with any pre-owned precision indicator, we recommend zeroing this instrument against a known reference surface and spot-checking its repeatability across five or six approach cycles before committing it to critical work.
