The Mitutoyo 516-967 is a professional 32-Piece Metric Gauge Block Set manufactured to Grade 1 (Inspection Grade) standards.
Unlike the larger 103-piece sets designed for building complex heights, this 32-piece set is curated specifically for Instrument Calibration and general workshop inspection. It contains the essential step blocks required to check the linearity of micrometers and calipers across their range.
- Grade 1 Accuracy: These are “Inspection Grade” blocks, offering higher precision than standard Grade 2 workshop blocks. They are typically used in a temperature-controlled room to set other gauges or calibrate measuring tools.
- Material: Made from high-carbon, high-chrome steel, heat-treated and aged to ensure dimensional stability over time.
- Rectangular Type: Features the standard rectangular measuring face, allowing them to be “wrung” together to create precise combined dimensions.
Condition
Used (Immaculate Condition).
This set is in immaculate used condition. The blocks have been well-kept and are currently protected with a film of lubrication to preserve their mirror finish. There are no signs of corrosion or mishandling. The original wooden storage case is also in good condition, keeping the set secure and organised.
The 60mm block has a mild dented edge as well as a small chip, otherwise mostly flawless.
