Case
Material: usually ABS plastic or resin, lightweight and durable.
Protects the movement inside, with a crown on the right for time adjustment.
Dial
Yellow background with Mitutoyo logo – Made in Japan.
Fine graduations styled after a dial gauge (1 mm), giving a familiar feel to mechanical engineers.
Three hands: hour, minute, second.
Movement
Japanese quartz movement manufactured by Citizen.
Principle: uses a quartz crystal oscillation (32,768 Hz), divided by IC circuitry to control a stepper motor that drives the hands.
High accuracy (deviation ±15–20 seconds/month).
Strap
Made of black rubber/soft plastic with a stainless steel buckle.
Simple design, easy to replace.
Case Back
Usually engraved with basic information: “Citizen Watch Co. – Japan – Quartz”.
Press-fit or tightly closed to protect the movement.
Power Source (Battery)
Silver oxide or lithium battery (SR626SW or equivalent).
Typical lifespan 2–3 years.
